Titled ‘Tribhanga’, the movie will mark the Hindi directorial debut of Actress Renuka Shahane. The debutant has been working on the script for a long time now and has confirmed its star cast as legendary actress Shabana Azmi, Karwaan actress Mithila Palkar and the newest addition last seen in ‘Helicopter Eela’, actress Kajol. The movie will be produced by Siddharth P Malhotra.

Actress turned director Renuka Shahane has previously directed the Marathi movie Rita in 2009 which starrer actors Pallavi Joshi and Jackie Shroff and was based on the book ‘Rita Welingkar’ penned by her mother Shanta Gokhale. Tribangha is set to go on floors by this year-end and will be shot extensively in Mumbai. Kajol will next be seen playing the reel wife of her real life husband Ajay Devgn in Tanhaji:The Unsung Warrior.
